Mr. Dalvin Hutcherson 78 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.

In lieu of food and flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimers Association.

Funeral services will be private for the family.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Hutcherson was born August 18, 1944 to the late Isaac Williegreen Hutcherson and Mamie Louise (Rogers) Hutcherson. He worked as a security guard for the Milan Arsenal and was a Vietnam War veteran and retired from the Air Force with 21½ years of service.  Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Hutcherson and Danny Hutcherson.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Hutcherson, two daughters, Ginger Hatchett (Richard) and Cindy Cole (Russell) all of Huntingdon, two brothers, Forrest Hutcherson (Carolyn) of Westport, and Wallace Hutcherson of Knoxville.  He also leaves three grandchildren, Caitlin Smith (Brandon), Sarah Hunley, Seth Hatchett, four great-grandchildren, Cole Smith, Hutson Smith, Bailey Jo Hunley, and Presley Hunley.
