Mr. Darrell M. Smith, 90, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. James Keen officiating. Burial will follow in Palmer Shelter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Sunday from12:00 Noon until time of service.

Mr. Smith was born on August 9, 1933, to the late John and Ruby Oatsvall Smith. He was retired from the Navy and a rural carrier for U.S.P.S. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Smith, two daughters, Linda Smith, Margaret Kapsalis, a son, Rick Smith, a granddaughter, Kimberly Kapsalis, and a great-granddaughter, Briley Parish.

He is survived by two sons, Darrell E. Smith (Pam) of Superior, Wisconsin and Steve Smith of Texas.  He also leaves eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
