Mr. David Owen Hardy, 53 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Bro. Bud Ricketts and Bro. Michael Butler will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room on Sunday, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and on Monday from 11:00AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Trevor Akin, Ryan Campbell, Ken Nolen, Shane Akin, Jamie Peterson, Dustin Smith, Frankie Akin, Richard Akin, Jackie Trawick, Lee Trawick, and Stanley Laws.

Mr. Hardy was born April 7, 1962 in Oak Park, Illinois to John and Betty (Sutton) Hardy. He owned Hardy Plumbing and Electric and attended the Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Hardy of Huntingdon, his parents, John and Betty Hardy of the Terry Community; one daughter, Amanda Hardy of Tampa, Florida and a step daughter, Mallory Autry of Huntingdon; one son, Zach Hardy of Mckenzie and a step son, Tyler Autry of Huntingdon; two sisters, Paula Akin (Richard) also of Huntingdon, and Kim Campbell (Brian) of Kingsport, Tennessee. He also leaves one grandson, Harrison Hardy.
