Mr.David Mays, 74, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Chalk Bluff Cemetery P.O. Box 727 Dexter, MO 63841 or the charity of your choice.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Huntingdon Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.

The family will receive friend on Friday at the Huntingdon Church of Christ from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service

Mr. Mays was born November 13, 1941 in Cottondale, Alabama to the late Boss Luther and Edna (Corkren) Mays. He worked for the Carroll County Farmers Co-op and was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Stewart, Mary Ryan, and two brothers, Dee Mays and Edward Mays.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lou (Arnold) Mays; two daughters, Pennye Ann Mays of Huntingdon and Twania "Mickey" Stewart (Richard) of Decaturville; one son, Brian David Mays (Evelyn) of Burns; one sister, Fraulen Hice (Ken) of Owasso, Oklahoma; a sister in law, Nova Mays of Parma, Missouri; two brothers, Ray Mays of Springfield, Missouri and Wallace Mays of Flint, Michigan. He also leaves one granddaughter, Mallory Ann Mays of Burns and special friends, Robert and Judy Chandler.
