Diana Lee
Roam Gourley
December 10, 1945 – August 2, 2025
Diana Lee Roam Gourley, age 79, residing in Huntingdon, TN passed away on August 02, 2025 from natural causes.
Diana, born on December 10, 1945 in Saint Louis, MO, served the Lord from childhood with her gifts of song, love of her family, and dedication to the church. She served fifteen years in the Global Missions Department of the United Pentecostal Church International. Her favorite book was Proverbs, and she is a reflection of chapter 31 verses 10 -31.
Diana was blessed with the love and understanding of music. She could play the piano, organ, accordion, and quickly found her way around any other instrument she touched. Although she didn't read music, she simply allowed it to flow through her like the spirit of God.
At 19 years old, Diana married her childhood sweetheart Nathanael Gourley and began a new life together. They lived in Phoenix Arizona, Miami Florida, Kansas City Missouri, Memphis Tennessee, Eustis Florida, Saint Louis Missouri and Huntingdon Tennessee. Regardless of the place or how long they lived there, Diana remained rooted in her faith and made it home for her husband and two children. She loved to travel and explore; she loved holidays where the entire family would get together; she nurtured the bonds she had with friends no matter the distance, and she built a firm foundation of love that was a continual touchstone for those who knew her.
Diana is survived by her two children, their spouses, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her daughter Natalie Jordan is married to Timothy and has three children: Emileigh, Guy and Levi. Guy is married to Brionna and has three children: Bre'elle, taken before birth, Fletcher and Griffin. Diana's son Daryl is married to Shanna and has two children: Aidan and Reese. She is also survived by her sister Lillie Mae, married to Harold Jaco and her brother Robert Roam married to Paula along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Diana is preceded in death by her husband Nathanael, her father Guy Roam, her mother Lillie Roam, her brother James Roam and his wife Sharon Roam.
Diana's life will be celebrated at New Life Saint Louis, 11570 Mark Twain Ln, Bridgeton, MO on Sunday August 10th. Visitation will be from 2 PM until 4 PM followed by her memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the New Life Academy, Guy E. Roam Scholarship fund.
