Mrs. Freida Dianne Cannon, 77, of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. George Avery officiating. Interment will follow in Sellers Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of the service.

Mrs. Cannon was born September 18, 1944 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Curtis and Lula Nell (Mitchell) Scott.  She was a homemaker, a member of Clarksburg Church of Christ, and a Country Music Fan especially the band "Double Edge".  Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Jerry Cannon, a son-in-law, Mark Spivey, and sister-in-law, Eleanor Scott.

She is survived by a son, Scotty Cannon (Debbie) of Clarksburg, two daughters, Sherry Berry (Allen) of Huntingdon, Carol Spivey of Clarksburg, one brother, Robert Scott (Dottie) of Clarksburg, two aunts, Barbara Ellis and Dorothy Carnell.  She also leaves seven grandchildren, Julie McClure, Josh Umstead (Lauren), A. J. Hall (T.J), Cody Cannon, Kallie Adams (Taylor), Dakota Berry (Jessie), Crystal Short (John), twelve great grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Graydon, Gavin, Emmie Grace, Korvelle, Boston, Shylo, Bentley, Knox, Ryder, and Jayden.
