Mrs. Dollye Freida Lifsey, 83 of Mc Lemoresville, Tennessee passed away Monday, January 09, 2012 at the Henry County Medical Center in Paris.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Obion Chapel Cemetery. Bro. George Edwin Miller will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in Oakwood room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday after 5:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers who will serve are her grandsons, Tony Frazee, Mike Lifsey, Jimmy Lifsey, Colby Cooper, Brad Smith and Dillion Simpson. Honorary Pallbearers who will serve are grandsons, B. J. Lifsey, Craig Smith, John Lifsey and Rodney Lfisey.
Mrs. Lifsey was born March 5, 1928 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late George and Molly Swafford Miller. She was a retired seamstress for H.I. S. Company and a member of the Obion Chapel Church of Christ. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph Eugene "Rusty" Lifsey, one grandson, Kevin Rogers, three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by eight daughters, Patsy Frazee of Conyers, Georgia, Sue (Bobby) Butler of Huntingdon, Diane(Jr) Rogers, Lisa (Lewis) Jones, Kim Simpson all of Cedar Grove, Vicky (Mike)Vaden of Bells, June (Chuck) Gray, Betty Lou Cooper both of Trezvant, two sons, Jimmy (Teri) Lifsey of Woodlawn and Steve (Denise) Lifsey of Cedar grove. She also leaves eighteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
