Mr. Donald Dewayne Nanney, 80 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Whitt officiating.  Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Roger Birdwell, Roger Birdwell, Jr., Jonathan Whitt, Matt Adams, Britt Nanney, Mickey Grant, and Garrett Holland.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until time of service.

Mr. Nanney was born June 9, 1942 in Boydsville, Arkansas, to the late John Henry and Willie Pearl (Bynum) Nanney.  He was retired from Consolidated Aluminum Company as a machinest, worked for the Memphis Fire Department and was a member of First Baptist Church in Huntingdon.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Clara Nanney of Munford, three daughters, Stephanie Spain of Nashville, Rhonda Adams of Cedar Grove, Tracey Kennon (Chris) of Lexington, two sons, Jeff Nanney (Karla) of Lexington, Jason Whitt of Munford, and one brother, Robert Nanney (Betty) of Oakland.  He also leaves nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
