Mrs. Doris Lee Wooters, 85, of Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Lifecare Center of Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Twin Oaks Cemetery. Bro. Walter Butler and Bro. Jimmy Pinson will officiate.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday, March 26 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until time of service.


Mrs. Wooters was born January 20, 1933 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late Jessie and Willie (Perry) Allison. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Garrett and a brother, Bill Allison.She was a member of Twin Oaks Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles A. Wooters; a daughter, Kathy Jackson (Charles) of Rockvale, Tennessee; a son, Greg Wooters (Michele) of Huntingdon; three sisters, Pat Wright of Huntingdon, Carol Sue French of Hollow Rock and Joan Delveau of Iowa; two brothers, Mike Allison of Huntingdon and Bobby Allison of Jackson, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
