Mrs. Dorothy Ann "Dottie" Wood, 82 of McLemoresville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the NHC Healthcare in Milan.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Bro. Mark Carrigan will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests all gifts and donations be directed to Huntingdon First United Methodist Church 201 Asbury Circle Huntingdon, Tennessee 38344

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of the service

Mrs. Wood was born February 5, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late George Benjamin and Lena Inez (Lowe) Henry. She was a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church and a Girl and Cub Scout Leader. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thomas Wood Jr. and a grandson, Tommy Wood.

She is survived by three sons, Randy Wood of McLemoresville, Jeff Wood (wife Sarah) of Three Way, Scott Wood (wife Sandra) of Bartlett, one daughter, Sandy Wood of Dalian, China. She also leaves five grandchildren, Chad Wood (wife Cassie) of Huntingdon, Ashley Wood Shearin (Chris) of Bartlett, Emily Wood of Brooklyn, New York, Matthew Wood (Jonna), Gracie Wood both of Bartlett and five great grandchildren, Cade Wood, Colt Wood, Collins Wood, Isaac Shearin and Eli Shearin
