Mrs. Dorothy Carnell, 95, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, October 20, 2025 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Andrew Stokes officiating the service. Burial will follow in Roans Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Logan Mitchell, Lane Mitchell, Kevin Carnell, Dakota Hicks, Dakota Parish, and Glen McClure. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Carnell and Mike Pinkley.

Mrs. Carnell was born March 8, 1930 in Westport, Tennessee to the late Robert Daniel Mitchell and Sarah Emmie (Whitehorn) Mitchell. She was also a member of Clarksburg Baptist Church. She worked 43 years and retired from Publix Shirt Factory.  She enjoyed quilting, square dancing, camping and spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Carnell, a sister, Lula Nell Scott, two brothers, Robert Mitchell and Denver Mitchell, and a son, Dennis Allen

She is survived by, two sons, Danny Ray Mitchell (Pat) of Trezevant and Donald L. Carnell (Becky) of Horn Lake, Mississippi, a sister, Barbara Ellis, seven grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
