Dorothy Dean Halter's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Dean Halter,75, of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Bro. Tim Maness will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Halter was born June 30, 1942 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late John Sr.and Ondean (Prater) Douglas. She was a member of Clarksburg Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Donald Ray Halter; two brothers, John Edwin Douglas and Gaylon Douglas and a sister, Shirley Baker.
She is survived by three sons, Glenn Halter (Tena), Phillip Halter (Alicia), and Danny Halter all of Clarksburg; a sister, Vonell Smith of Clarksburg; a brother, Sidney Douglas (Helen) of Huntsville, AL. She also leaves six grandchildren.
