Mrs. Dorothy Marie Sanders 82, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Harmony Hill Assisted Living.



Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Long Rock Cemetery. Bro. Lynn Stapleton will officiate the service.



The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.



Pallbearers who will serve are Gean Thompson, Gayford Simmons, Danny Haywood, Cary Don Laws, Steve Laws and Dennis Laws.



Mrs. Sanders was born July 14, 1929 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Goethe Laws and Sophia (Crider) Laws. She was a homemaker and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband; John Hershel Sanders Jr., two sisters; Doye Simmons, Irene Rodgers, and two brothers; Waldon Laws and Homer Laws.



She is survived by two sisters; Evola Thompson, Juanita McCord (husband Tom) both of Huntingdon, four brothers; Odell Laws (wife Opal) of Nashville, John Wesley Laws (wife Shelby) of Palentine, Illinois, Joe Vernon Laws (wife Venita) and Wilburn Laws (wife Frances) both of Huntingdon.
