Obituary

Mr. Douglas Wayne Carroll, 64, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Bro. Ronnie King will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Carroll was born in February 22, 1953 in Tipton County, Tennessee to the late William Cleatis Carroll and Lena Mae Fleming. He was a Truck Driver for Covington Redi Mix Co., was a member of the Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Christ in Camden, and served in the Army National Guard. He was an avid Fisherman and Pianist. He was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Leslie Carroll and former wife, Virginia Carol Carroll "MeMe".

He is survived by two daughter, Amy Walls of Huntingdon, Chrystal Pettigrew of Stanton; four sisters, Barbara Jean Johnson (James R.) of McKenzie, Martha Jane Elzie (Michael), April Beatrice Carroll, and Brenda Ann Pilkington all of Covington; four brothers, William Perry "Bubba" Carroll (Barbara) of Covington, Gary Lynn Carroll Sr. (Leah) of Paris, Thomas Estes Fleming (Charlotte), and Robert Edwards Fleming both of Covington. He also leaves four grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Hill, Taylor Lee Walls, Christopher Wayne Burnett, and Timothy Michael Walls.
