Mr. Douglas Glover, 81, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Wendell Owens officiating. Interment will follow in New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Decatur County.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Dallas Glover, Dakota Glover, Shawn Glover, Dexter Pruitt, Jeremy Rimmer, Greg Rimmer.

Douglas "Doug" Glover was born September 24, 1942, in Covington, Tennessee to the late John Wesley and Ocie Lee "Hatcher" Glover. He worked in shipping and receiving for H.I.S. He was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur County.  He was preceded in death by 8 Siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Glover, a daughter, Bonita McMackins (Mike) of Buena Vista; two sons, Greg Rimmer and Elvis Glover (Tracy) both of Buena Vista; he also leaves one sister and two brothers as well as eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren
