Mr. Douglas Leverne McCormick, 63, of Trezevant, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his home.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 6, at 11:00 A.M. at Mount Ararat Baptist Church in Trezevant.

It was Doug's wish that no flowers be purchased please, so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his family or to a children's charity of your choice.

Mr. McCormick was born May 13, 1960, in Oneida, New York, to Leverne McCormick and Shirley Schmidtka. He was a corrections officer for the New York Department of Corrections. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Kenneth, a sister, Gorgene, his step-mother Blanche and step-father Emil.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Deanna McCormick, children, Nathaniel, Joshua, Kaycee, and Jacob, brothers, Roger, Dennis, Richard, William, Eric, John, Ronnie Joe, Raymond, Jerimiah, Joseph, and Natalio, sisters, Penny, Wendy, Rose, Marjorie, and Robin.
