Mr. Dwaine Edwards, 70, of Buena Vista, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 18, 2019, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Boyd, Bro. Phillip Halter, and Jeff Bryant officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Edwards was born July 20, 1948 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, to the late Samuel Lee Cunningham and Mary Wilma Hopper.  He was a presser at H.I.S., formed assembly at Fluid Routing Solutions, and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Edwards and one brother, Bill Gene Roberts.

He is survived by one daughter, Scarlet Dawn Edwards and one son, Dwaine Scott Edwards both of Buena Vista.  He also leaves one grandson, Jaxon Scott Edwards.
