Obituary

Mr. Edd Junior Floyd, 90, of Westport, Tennessee passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Matthew Floyd and Bro. George Avery officiating the service. Interment will follow in Jamison Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Matthew Floyd, Dustin Smith, Matthew Hicks, Matthew Reed, Trevor Moore and Philip Moore.   Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Harrison, Seth Gilley, Rodney Moore, Matthew Wise, Lee Ellis, Lynn Hilliard, Jason Moore, Ricky Moore, and Colton Moore.

Mr. Floyd was born August 15, 1935 in Benton County to the late Willie "Dutch" Floyd and Nora Hale Floyd. He was retired from the Milan Arsenal. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean Floyd; a son, Eddie Dean Floyd, five sisters, Peggy Sue Jackson, Mary Ann Dodd, Betty Lou James, Janice Floyd, Jenice Floyd; two brothers, James Howard Floyd and Bobby Lee Floyd.

He is survived by; two daughters, Beckie McNeely (Jerry) of Atwood, Darlene Kirk (Bobby) of Huntingdon; a son, Willie "Peewee" Floyd (Auga) of Bruceton, a sister, Wilma Smith, of Huntingdon, a daughter-in-law, Becky Floyd.  He also leaves eight grandchildren, Angie Harrison, Jeannie Bostick, Christy Tucker, Matthew Floyd, Megan Lowe, Michelle Barrett, Faith Cannon and Dustin Smith, sixteen great grandchildren, Alex Cunningham, Seth Gilley, Alyssa Bullington, Logan Harrison, Colton Kyle, Abigail Floyd, Paisley Floyd, Ridge Floyd, Conner Tucker, Kaylynn Barrett, Bryleigh Barrett, Heather Barrett, Paxton Bostick, Hayden Bostick, Reagan Bostick, James Cannon; four great great grandchildren, Brooks, Clay, Fowler, and Odin and a special caregiver, Tammy Lemke.
