Ms. Eddie Mae Pearson, 85 of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Rufus Anderson officiating the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Pallbearers who will serve are Lawrance Foulks, Brice Scott, Manuel Dupree,
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church from 2:00 PM until time of service.
Mrs. Pearson was born November 12, 1933 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Eddie Dupree and Veddie (Foulks) Dupree. She worked at Henry I Siegel Company as a utility worker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Prince Edward Dupree, J. C. Dupree, Manuel Dupree, three sisters, Lottie Virgie Dupree, Addie Mae Harris, and Palmer Lee Barmore.
She is survived by two daughters, Dye Ann Owens (Floyd) of Hollow Rock, Pricilla Pearson Owens (Donnie) of Bruceton; two sons, Benjamin L. Pearson, Sr., of Jackson, Charles Edward Pearson of Bruceton; three sisters, Jennie McCain, Eva Rena Porter (Eddie), both of Huntingdon, Eva Lena Newbill (Othell) of McLemoresville; Eddie Gene Dupree (Jo Carol), and J. R. Dupree, both of Bruceton. She also leaves four grandchildren, one step grandchild, Latrese Carter, Benjamin Pearson, Jr., Angela Pearson, Brad Pearson, Christopher Owens, three great-grandchildren, Caleb Owens, Brody Huff, and Xander Owens.
