Mrs. Edith Claudine Jordan, 92, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Henry Simpson and Bro. Russ Wilkins will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Owen McMillin, Stuart McGowan, Barry Jordan, Randall Norden, Jay Bond, and Joe Hampton. Honorary pallbearers are Arvil Wilkes and Bob Ireland.

Mrs. Jordan was born August 30, 1924 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Alonzo and Vonnie (Hargrove) Norden. She was a retired teller for the Bank of Huntingdon, a member of the First Baptist Church in Huntingdon, the Carroll County Choir for over 20 years, and the Carroll County Senior Citizens. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Glen Jordan and a brother, Weldon Norden.

She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Taylor (husband Vince), one sister Lonnelle McMillin, and one brother, Buster Norden all of Huntingdon. She also leaves a granddaughter, Morgan Taylor.
