Mrs. Elizabeth Radford 86, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Harmony Hill Assisted Living.



Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Huntingdon. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. Jim Cooper, Rev. Dossie Wheatley and Dr. Jerry Jeffords will officiate the service.



The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday at the First United Methodist Church at 12:00 PM until time of service.



In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials to the First United Methodist Church in Huntingdon.



Pallbearers who will serve are Bobbie Joe Williams, Mickey Wright, Randle Williams, Marty Towater, Heath Bush and Barry Murphy.



Mrs. Radford was born December 22, 1925 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Homer Benjamin Williams and Ivy (Stacy) Williams. She was a retired factory worker for Publix Shirt Corporation, a member of First United Methodist Church Huntingdon where she served in every position, member of Huntingdon Book Lover's Club and Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. V. Radford, Jr. and one son, Johnny Radford, one sister, Ruth Woods and two brothers, George Williams and Collis Williams.



She is survived by one daughter; Virginia Voss (husband Robbie) of Dyersburg one son, Robert "Gus" Radford (wife Linda), daughter-in-law, Trudy Radford both of Huntingdon. She also leaves four grandchildren; Brad Voss, Elizabeth Radford, Will Radford and Rosemary Radford and two great grandchildren; Michael Radford and Kate Radford.
