Ellen Marie May's Obituary
Mrs. Ellen Marie May, 75 of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hampton cemetery. Bro. Don Churchwell will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. May was born March 24, 1942 in Somerville, Tennessee to the late Ivy Wilson Sharp and Ellen (Musch) Barron. She was a retired CNA and a member of The House of The Lord in Camden. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Green May and a son, Lemuel Richard Owens.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise Orr (James) of Medina; a son, Timothy Wayne "Butch" Owens (Carolyn) of Huntingdon; a sister, Sheryl Tyner (Charles) of Lexington; two brothers, Lee Barron and Kenneth Barron both of Memphis. She also leaves two granddaughters, Jessica Heather Hill and Ericka Denise Hill.
