Mrs. Elzie Mae Stanford, 94, of Troy, Tennessee, formerly of Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her home.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 3:00 PM at Hickory Flat Cemetery with Bro. Darren Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until 2:30 PM.

Mrs. Stanford was born February 7, 1926 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, to the late Charlie Woodard and Lela (Blankenship) Woodard.  She was retired from H. I. S. Company as a seamstress.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Stanford, one son, Gary Stanford, one sister, Elsie Winchester Hale, and one brother, Charles Woodard, Jr.

She is survived by one son, Robert Stanford of Troy, Tennessee.  She also leaves three grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren.
