Mr. Ernest Dwayne Kelly 83 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. Bro. Ernest Ray Pounds and Bro. Lee Johnson will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers who will serve are Kelly Keen, Jacob, Keen, Patrick Lindsey, Michael Church, Joe Kelly, Tyler Kelly, Milton Clark and John Kelly.
Mr. Kelly was born July 4, 1928 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee to the late Noel V. Kelly and Pearl (Lewis) Kelly. He was a self employed farmer and a member of the Obion Chapel Church of Christ. He was also preceded in the death by six sisters; Kate Jarrett, Madeline Ledsinger, Nolene Barger, Ollie Jarrett, Berlyn Barger, Mary Nell Pendergrass and four brothers; Jim Kelly, Fred Kelly, Archie Kelly and Jack Kelly.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years; Flora Ollita (Pendergrass) Kelly, two daughters; Judy Keen (husband Mickey) of Jackson, Gail Keel (husband David) of Huntingdon, two sons; Doyle Kelly (wife Janis) of Macon, Georgia and Dean Kelly (wife Stephanie) of Cedar Grove and one brother; Billy Dean Kelly of Cedar Grove. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
