Obituary

Mrs. Esther Marie Lomax, 84, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Camden. Father Joey Kaump will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM.

Pallbearers who will serve are Dwayne Pierce, Dick Stokes, Jim McGinness, Norman Keug, Brian Lomax, and Gilman Jambard.

Mrs. Lomax was born May 29, 1931 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Adam and Edith (Norris) Volk. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Wendal Lomax and one son, Charles Michael Lomax.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandy Simpson (Jim) of Bruceton; one son, Danny Lomax of Centerville, Ohio; one sister, Deloris Pavuk of Indiana. She also leaves four grandchildren, Brian Lomax (Jessica) of Centerville, Ohio, Shannon McGinness (Jim) of Verona, New Jersey, Amber Kee of Jackson, Beth Blank (Neal) of Waynesville, Ohio, and four great grandchildren, Jaden Walkemeyer of Centerville, Ohio, Annie Blank and Avery Blank both Waynesville, Ohio, and Joseph Gabringer of Centerville, Ohio.
