Mrs. Floy Smothers Zipse, 79, of Huntingdon passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Sellers officiating the service.  Interment will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Charlie Blakeman, Dennis Bush, Phil Phetz, Chris Brown, Cameron Pruett, Joseph McCraig, and Anthony Boyd.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Mrs. Zipse was born June 15, 1939 to the late Bennett Bush and George Ann (Kee) Bush. She had retired from the Brown Shoe Company. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Gene Smothers, her second husband, Rolland Zipse, her daughter, Janice Kyle, three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Smothers, of Huntingdon, and Dwayne Smothers of Atlanta Georgia, one brother, Willie Bush, of McKenzie.  She also leaves five grandchildren, Brandy Kyle, Joseph Kyle, Jacquelyn Kyle, Chasity Smothers and Andrew Smothers, and ten great-grandchildren, Colton, Jaslyn, Layne, Brantley, Waylon, Savannah, Cheyenne, Allie Claire, Aaron Brice and Mason.
