Obituary

Mrs. Frances Bryant, 85 of Bruceton, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hebron Church Cemetery. Bro. George Avery will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday, after 12:00 and on Tuesday, from 8:00AM until time of service.

Mrs. Bryant was born April 29, 1930 in Crockett County to the late Clifton Lee and Beulah Mae (Miller) Balentine. She was a retired Sewing Machine Operator for H.I.S. and a member of the Hebron Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Bryant, and infant son, two sisters, Lyda Kate Balentine and Katherine Morgan, and two brothers, Bill Balentine and William Lee Balentine.

She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Butler (John) of Buena Vista, one daughter at heart, Brenda Williams of Hollow Rock, and one son at heart, James Grooms of Bruceton, five brothers, Charles Balentine of Cedar Grove, Bob Balentine of Huntingdon, James Balentine of McKenzie, Fred Balentine of Gleason, and Steve Balentine of Milan, and three sisters, Shirley Grooms of Camden, Marilyn Gooch of Yuma, and Linda Holifield of Bruceton.She also leaves three grandchildren, Will Butler, Sherry Castillo, and Jessica Grooms, four great- granddaughters, Alexis, Addison, Audrina, and Olyviah and a host of nieces and nephews.
