Mr. Frank "Frankie" Douglas Ray, 48 of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 16, 2022

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Cemetery.

Mr. Ray was born April 17, 1973 in Huntingdon, Tennessee.  He was very loved and always wore a smile.  He made a big impact on the lives of all he knew.  He never met a stranger.

He professed Christ at an early age at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Huntingdon, TN.  He attended Huntingdon High School where he graduated in 1991.  He was a proud member of the Marching Mustangs.  He worked at Behlin in Huntingdon for several years before it closed.  He later moved back to Huntingdon and became the manager of Dollar General Store in Bruceton.  Shortly after that, his health started to decrease and he made the move to Lithia Springs. Georgia. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric and grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Kay Ray, his father John Thomas Barnes, his sister, Robin Melton (Haywood), three brothers, Keith Ray (Sheila), Kenneth T. Ray, Sr., (Trina), Robert Ray (Lisa), three nephews, Christopher Ray, Kenneth T. Ray, Jr., (Jalisa), Kenneth John Ray, six nieces, Candace Nunley, Tanesha Ray, Brittney Ray, Cassandra Johnson (Terrell), Jazzlyn Ray, Maleigha Ray, a niece/granddaughter, Brooklyn Victoria Johnson, his special friend, Samuel Stanley, and his loving furbabies, Lexie and Sasha.  He also leaves one aunt, Willie Priddy, close friends, DeQueena Johnson, DeQuan Ford, six great nephews, one great niece, several cousins, classmates, and friends.
