Mr. Frankie D. Smith, 72, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at his home.

It was Frankie's request that in lieu of flowers please direct donations to the Parkers Chapel Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 38, Clarksburg, TN 38324  or the American Cancer Society

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Parkers Chapel. Interment to follow in Parkers Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday at Parkers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Frankie D. Smith was born April 7, 1951 in Trezevant, Tennessee to the late Robert Smith and Mary Agnes Scates–Smith. He departed from this life on Monday, May 1, 2023 at his home in Huntingdon, Tennessee. He confessed his faith in Christ at a young age and rededicated his life back to Christ in 2008. He remained a devoted member and Trustee of Parkers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church until his death. He retired from Norandal Inc. in Huntingdon, Tennessee, after 35 years. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, William "Spoony" Chapter, Eddie Dean Smith, and Gayland Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, JoAnn Smith, his children, Franklin Smith (Tequila), Tanya Choyce (James), Sharri Smith-Lockhart, and Britany Smith, a sister, Mattie Lyons, two brothers, Ricky Scates and Robert Smith Jr., a host of grandchildren, brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephews. He also leaves his loving neighbors, Mrs. Bertie Lou Warbritton and Gina Rainey.
