Mr. Garvin Alford Rich 80, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Rich was born March 28, 1932 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Leslie and Novie (Dill) Rich. He was retired from the General Motors Corporation and a member of Oak Grove Congregational Methodist Church. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bailey Rich and Franklin Rich.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nellie Jo (Reynolds) Rich one daughter, Tonya Rich both of Huntingdon, two sons, Donnie Rich (Susan), Gary Rich both of Nashville, one sister, Thelma Titchen and one brother, Llyod Ray Rich both of Huntingdon. He also leaves three grandchildren, Montana Hightower, Cody Maness, Lauren Rich and several nieces and nephews.
