Mr. Gary Dalan Johnson Sr, 52 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. Bro. John Baker will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are his sons.

The family will receive friends on Thursday after 6:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Johnson was born November 12, 1959 in Davidson County, Tennessee. He was a construction worker for Tolley & Lowe Construction, a member of the Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church and VFW in McKenzie. He also served in the United States Army and was a Desert Storm Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father Therman B. Johnson.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Ruth and Bill Dean Kelly of Cedar Grove, three step daughters; Brandy Whitten (husband Chris) of Milan, Rachel Black of Indiana and Megan Bryant (husband Dylan) of Paris, five sons; Gary Dalan Johnson Jr. (wife April) of Burlison, Joshua Johnson (friend Freda) of Trezevant, Jeremiah Johnson (wife Gina) of Cedar Grove, Therman J. Johnson of Tiptonville and Dylan Johnson of Cedar Grove, one sister; Rhonda Johnson Applegate (husband Doug) of Trezevant and one step brother; Gregg Chandler (wife Tammy) of Cedar Grove. He also leaves eight grandchildren; Phillip, Abbagail, Emily, Nichalos, Aden, Joziah, Elayna and Brennalyn.
