Mr. Gene Patterson Bradley, 54, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Stapleton officiating the service. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Bradley was born August 26, 1966 in California to Harvey Wayne Bradley and the late Durene (Hicks) Bradley. His military career started as a 13 Fox Artillerymen on Active Duty, Basic Training Fort Sill, Oklahoma, four years active duty, assigned to Major Army Commands in Germany. Upon completion of active-duty service, he joined Tennessee National Guard for a total of ten years military service. While in the National Guard, he was a member of HQS, 3/115 field Artillery battalion and the 1175 th maintenance company. Commanded by Colonel Travis Powell, state safety director Tennessee National Guard HQS, Nashville, Tennessee. He was an E4 in the Army and received the following awards: Soldiers Award, Individual Achievement Award, Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal, OIF- Operation Iraqi Freedom Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, MSM – Meritorious Service Medal, and various Tennessee National Guard Awards. He also worked for H.I.S. in the Shipping Dept and later years worked for Noranda/Granges.
He is survived by a daughter, Leah Bradley of Hollow Rock; a step-daughter, Pricilla Harden of Lexington, a son, Shawn Bradley of Huntingdon; his father, Harvey Bradley (Donna Saucier) of Huntingdon; a sister, Julie Wilkes (Tony) of Bruceton and two brothers, Robert Bradley (Martha Dillingham) of Hollow Rock and Douglas Bradley of Huntingdon. He also leaves a granddaughter, Annistyn Bradley and two step grandchildren, Braysyn Harden, Navasia Harden.
