Bennie Eugene (Gene) Clark of Huntingdon, TN passed away at the age of 73 just the way he wanted…with his final days surrounded by beautiful women in the comfort of his own home.
Gene had four kids, that we know of (His joke not ours!) His daughters, Regina McAdams, Amanda Guhy, and Kristy Cushman, and his son, Bennie Eugene Clark Jr. Gene leaves behind five grandchildren, two of which are spoiled rotten. He had several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special friend, Dean Dill. Gene is survived by his sister, Frances Milam who has spent her entire life keeping him in line and baking him caramel pies.
In Heaven he reunites with his beloved parents, Ben Julian (Jude) Clark and Lillie May Clark, his brothers, James Clark, Billy Dean Clark, sister Mary Joe Clark, and let's not forget his missing ring finger that was ripped away from his left hand way too soon.
Gene worked at the Milan Arsenal until he retired but he was also a full time mechanic, banker, plumber, and cook (he made a mean pot roast.) After the girls were married he stepped into a part time position but was always on call anytime Kristy or Amanda needed him.
We'd like to take this time to thank all those who enriched our Fathers life, entertained him, brought happiness to him including but not limited to the greatest baseball team of all time…the St. Louis Cardinals, his friends, family, and anyone who has ever bought him a "As seen on TV" item…Bless you!
In lieu of flowers we encourage a donation to your favorite charity. In lieu of sorrow and sadness we ask that you celebrate the life of this wonderful man, share a story with his children, and hug your loved ones because no matter how long you have with them in the end it will never seem like enough.
Gene asked to be buried underneath the big oak tree at his home when we were little girls but as adults and because it's against the law we felt Dad would be more comfortable at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the rest of the family.
