Mr. Gene Stanley Porter, 86, of Camden, Tennessee passed away Saturday October 11, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Camden City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Ernest Vickers, Gene Vickers, Tim Vickers, Brian White, Evan Diehl, and Dale Cox.

Mr. Porter was born May 15, 1939 in Gallitin, Ohio, to the late Stanley Morton Porter and Margaret Ann Porter. He was the owner and operator of his transportation company. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by a son, Steve Morton Porter, and his wife, Betty Bradley Porter.

He is survived by a son, William Porter of Camden, three daughters, Cathy Bullington, of Paris, Christina Vickers (Tim) of Camden and Samantha White of McKenzie. He also leaves seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
