Mr. George Charles "Bill" Williams, 92 of Buena Vista, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014, at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jamison Cemetery. Bro. Robert Simmons will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday after 5:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Guy Williams, Chris Williams, Dennis Williams, Kenneth Harris, Adam Allen, and Jason Crampton.

Bill was born February 5, 1922 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late James Tolbert and Theo Dosia (Grissom) Williams. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Westport Missionary Baptist Church and served our country in the infantry during World War II. He was also preceded in death by one brother, J. T. Williams and four sisters, Minnie Webb, Ruby Willis, Irene Gatlin, and Betty Cary.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances Eubank Williams, four children, Anthony Williams (wife Patty) of Clarksburg, Nancy Simpson (husband Jimmy) of Huntingdon, David Williams (wife Angie) of Cordova, and Michelle Clark of Clarksburg; one sister, Sue Cary (husband Gene) of Yuma; one brother, Les Williams (wife Carol) of Washington, Illinois . He also leaves six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
