Miss Gretchen Kay Vaughan, 68 of Yuma, Tennessee passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Dalton Cemetery. Bro. John D. Small and Bro. Phillip Gulledge will officiate the service.
Pallbearers who will serve are Kenny Clements, Scott Gallimore, Michael Montgomery, Dwight Reed, William Rhodes, Roy Wilson. Honorary pallbearer will be Dale Seagraves.
The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Miss Vaughan was born December 10, 1947 in Akron, Ohio to the late Sherman A. Vaughan and Constance (Copeland) Vaughan. She had retired as a factory worker for the P M L Company and a member of Camden First Assembly of God. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Thomas Raymond McKim, just like a daugther, Stephanie Silhan Harris, just like a grandson, Liam Silhan, sister-in-law, Dee Vaughan.
She is survived by just like a son, Jonathan Silhan (wife Courtney) of Long Island, New York, just like a sister, Wilma Seagraves (husband Dale) of Yuma, two brothers, Ron Carter (wife Cyndi) of California and Tom Vaughn of Arizona. She also leaves two nephews, Doug Carter (Icela) & Gregg Carter (Michael) two nieces, Denise Carter & Michelle Mcgill (Matt), four great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
