Mrs. Hazel Hollingshead, 74, of Huntingdon, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery. Bro Andrew Stokes will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Hollingshead was born March 28, 1943 in Red Level, Alabama to the late Perry Newton and Katie (Hester) Bloodsworth. She was a homemaker and a member of the Clarksburg Baptist Church.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Windsor; two brothers, Douglas Bloodsworth and Rayford Bloodsworth.

She is survived by her husband of 55years, Jimmie Hollingshead; two daughters, Janet Kimberlee Hollingshead and Jeannie Kathy Roberts both of Huntingdon; one son, Jimmy Kevin Hollingshead (Amanda) of Clarksburg. She also leaves five grandchildren, Brittany, Tristan, Brooke, Chad, and Chase.
