Mr. Howard Ray Davis, 78, of Buena Vista, Tennessee passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2025 with Bro. Tim Maness officiating. Burial will follow in McAuley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Alex Davis, Dalton Davis, Garrett Moss, Isaiah Donald, Brent Rice and Randall Noles.

Mr. Davis was born January 21, 1947 in Darden, Tennessee to the late Ollie and Alphia (Maness) Davis. He was a pipeline worker. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Tony Davis, Glenn Davis and Leon Davis.

He is survived by three daughters, Pamela Moss (Joe) of Huntingdon, Melissa Davis of Lexington and Waneta Davis of Richmond Dale, Ohio, two sons, Tommy Davis (Stacy) and Calvin Davis (Holly) both of Buena Vista, and a brother, Houston Davis, of Westport. He also leaves ten grandchildren Trustan Detty, Garrett Moss, Whitney Detty, Hillary Moss, Alex Davis, Dalton Davis, Beau Davis, Hunter Wortham, Fischer Wortham, and Chandler Wortham and twelve great-grandchildren, Aidan, Lily, Jaxxyn, Mia, Sterling, Millie, Isabella, Addison, Tucker, Wylder, Lainey and Layne.
