Hugh L. Butler's Obituary
Mr. Hugh Lee Butler, 92, of Huntingdon passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Signature Healthcare in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Rev. Charles Coplin will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:45 AM until 11:45 AM.
Mr. Butler was born September 11, 1924 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Earlie and Lubie (Bledsoe) Butler. He was retired from TVA and served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife Virgielene Butler of Huntingdon; a daughter, Virgie Butler- Dorsey (Tommy J.) of Orlando, Florida; three sons, George Butler (Donetta) of Gallatin, William Butler of Nashville, and Wilvor Butler (Vickie) of Atlanta, Georgia. He also leaves twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
