Mrs. Imogene Willodean "Polly" Sanders, 88 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Furr will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Sanders was born December 15, 1928 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Douglas McCall and Cora Bell (Weaver) Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Huntingdon First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years James Bernice Sanders; three sisters, Pearly Marie Williams, Dorthy Lee Hall, Peggy Ann Smith; three brothers, James Franklin Smith, John Douglas Smith, and Harlos White Smith.

She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Shoup (Pete) of Cypress, Texas, Judy Brinkman (Alan) of Hattisburg, Mississippi, Patricia Sanders (Jim Shiner) of Huntingdon, and Cynthia Gonzalez (Nick) of Clarksville; two sons, Michael Sanders (Jane) of Spring, Texas and William "Bill" Sanders (Jamie) of Clarksburg; two sisters, Lucille Kee of Huntingdon and Robbie Jo Judd of Nashville; one brother, Roy Earl Smith of Nashville. She also leaves ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
