Mrs. Irene Harris Hollowell, 87, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Harmony Hills Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Hilliard officiating. Interment will follow in the Holladay Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Dennis Hilliard, Bryant Hollowell, Glyn Gurley, Glenn Halter, Caleb Harris, and Tim McMinn.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 PM until time of service.

Mrs. Hollowell was born July 17, 1931 in Yuma, Tennessee, to the late James Thomas Harris and Lessie (Haynes) Harris.  She was retired from the Holladay School System as Custodian and a member of Holladay Baptist Church.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom B. Hollowell, two sisters, Jean Myracle Smith, Lucille Boyd, six brothers, Bradley Harris, Danny Ray Harris, John Harris, O. T. Harris, J. R. Harris and James "Squeeky" Harris.

She is survived by one son, Tony Hollowell (Mitzi) of Gotha, Florida, , two sisters, Betty Jo Furr of Huntingdon, Sue Carrol Gurley of Clarksburg, two brothers, Charles Harris (Glenda) of Clarksburg and Donald Harris (Dianne) of McKenzie.  She also leaves three grandchildren, Jessa Hollowell, Olivia Hollowell, and Kellar Hollowell.
