Mr. Ivy Eugene Lewelling, 79 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Billy Ringold and Bro. Chase Sanders will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Howard Pruett, Bobby Hardy, Billy Parham, Jim Crockett, Jimmy Pinson and Tommy Chandler. Honorary Pallbearers who will serve are Doyle Davidson and Ed Harris.

The family will receive friends in Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Lewelling was born November 20, 1932 in Clarksburg, Tennessee to the late Iva Vinson and Virginia Elizabeth (Barnett) Lewelling. He was a retired painter and a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Elsworth Lewelling.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen (Walker) Lewelling, one son, Greg Lewelling of Huntingdon. He also leaves two granddaughters; Jennifer Lewelling and Katie Lewelling.
