Mr. Jack Daniel, 83, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home; Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Chaplain Bruce Pigue will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Daniel was born February 14, 1934 in Winston County, Alabama to the late Sebern Taylor and Della (White) Daniel. He retired after 25 years in the United States Army, which included several tours with the 3rd Infantry "Old Guard", and was a Vietnam and Korean veteran. He spent the last 35 years operating a successful cattle farm in the Bruceton area. Mr. Daniel had a passion for making mandolins and fiddles. He enjoyed playing Bluegrass Music.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Totsy (Stone) Daniel; a daughter, Anita Daniel of Durham, North Carolina; two sons, Phillip Daniel (Penny) of Fayetteville, Eric Daniel (Lisa) of Pensacola, Florida; three sisters, Betty Baldy of Phil Campbell, Alabama, Vonda Townsend of Double Springs, Alabama, and Wanda Faye Emerson of Athens, Alabama; two brothers, Shirley Maxwell Daniel (Edith) of Phil Campbell, Alabama and Quinton Daniel (Nancy) of Vicksburg, Michigan. He also leaves eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
