Mrs. Jacquelyn "Jackie" Mae Swafford, 80, of Lavinia, Tennessee, passed away Friday, November 09, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Palestine Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Swafford was born September 12, 1932 in York, Pennsylvania to the late James Floyd and Gertrude Mae (Lease) Patton. She was the Owner and Manager of Rosewood Manor in Cedar Grove. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. L. Swafford and one son, James Swafford.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Wynn (husband Sammie) of Paris, Wanda Matheny (husband Mike) of Mims, Florida, Nancy Farmer (husband Robert) of Jackson, three sisters, JoAnn Moncher of Cedar Grove, Dot James (husband Gerald) of Lexington, Glenna Grissom of Atwood, one brother, Tucker Patton (wife Lynda) of Collierville. She also leaves one grandson whom she raised, Stacey Dew (wife Karen), seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
