Mrs. Jacquetta Joetta Greer, 76, of Lavinia, TN passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Huntingdon Health and Rehab.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cedar Grove with Bro. Michael Ridgely officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home.


Mrs. Greer was born July 17, 1940 in Hayti, Missouri the daughter of the late Lennie Gwyn Sutton Sr. and Mildred Carter Sutton. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Greer; a daughter, Linda Ray Forrest; and a grandson, Marty Ray Nunley.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda McAlexander (husband Charles) of Lavinia and Wanda "Dixie" Akins (husband Richard) of McKenzie; a sister, Gwendolyn McGill; brother, Lennie Gwyn Sutton Jr.; two grandchildren, Destiny Pritchett and Jason Depriest and one great grandchild, Clowie Jennette.
