Mr. James Lynn Barker, 59 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Jackson officiating.  Interment will follow in Union Academy Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Larry Tippitt, Lynn Watkins, Micky Stafford, John Roberts, Clayton Fitzpatrick, and Tony Melton.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Barker was born September 23, 1963 in Milan, Tennessee.  He was a line foreman for Black and Decker Company, a member of Union Academy Missionary Baptist Church and Huntingdon Elks Lodge.  One of his favorite hobbies included fishing at the Carroll County 1000 Acre Lake.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lyndle L. Barker and three uncles.

He is survived by one son, Brandon Lynn Barker of Michigan, his mother, Robbie Barker, of McKenzie, one sister, Angie Barker of Huntingdon, one nephew, Zachery Lynn Barker and one uncle, Charles White.  He also leaves several cousins and a very special friend.
