Mr. James Hubert Cantrell Jr., 84 of Milan, Tennessee passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Milan First Baptist Church with Dylan Wilson officiating.

The family will receive friends at Milan First Baptist Church on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M.

Mr. Cantrell was born September 28, 1940 in Trezevant, Tennessee to the late James Hubert Cantrell Sr. and Willie Grace (Stafford) Cantrell. He retired from H.I.S. after 40 years of service.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Milan, a member of Masonic Lodge 731 in Bruceton and 32nd degree Scottish Rite in Memphis. He was also a member of the Bruceton Lions Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Candice Wilson (Darren) of Jackson, a son, James Hubert Cantrell III (Amber) of McKenzie, a step son, Anthony Thompson of South Fulton, four grandchildren, Dylan Wilson (Lauren), Dalton Wilson (Shea), Olivia Cantrell and Avery Cantrell.
