James Owen Carter's Obituary
Mr. James Owen Carter, Sr., 89 of Lavinia Tennessee passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Little Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Carter was born March 11, 1924 to the late Freddie D. Carter and Clemmie Leanna (Harrell) Carter. He was a retired masonry from the Milan Arsenal and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Laurita Bertha (Huff) Carter and children.
