James Otis Cary's Obituary
Mr. James O. Cary, 84 of Bruceton, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Prospect Cemetery in Parsons, Tennessee. Bro. Tracy McDaniel and Bro. Johnny Boyd will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Cary was born December 1, 1928 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Felix Cary and Hester (Melton) Cary. He was a retired factory worker for the Henry I. Siegel Company, a Korean War Army veteran, and was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ethelene Bush and one brother, Charles Cary.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jean (Ledbetter) Cary, one brother, Wayne Cary (wife Morine) of Bruceton and several nieces and nephews.
