Mr. James Donald Cole, 85 of Buena Vista, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the McAuley cemetery. Bro. Roger Cooper and Bro Steve Davis will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Tuesday, from 8:00AM until time of service.

Mr. Cole was born June 25, 1929 in Carroll County to the late Dossie Franklin Cole and Lou Emma (Beasley) Cole. He was retired from the Milan Arsenal where he worked production and a member of the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Buena Vista. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cole, five sisters, Olivine Higdon, Opal Noles, Ila Norwood, Willodean Williams, and Levera Cole; and three brothers, Ernest Lee Cole, Warren Cole, and Leland Cole.

He is survived by one daughter, Donna Thompson (Dan) of Buena Vista, and one son Russell Cole (Cindy) of Huntingdon. He also leaves two grandchildren, Caitlin Smith (Brandon) and Sarah Cole.
